Bad Video Games(Black Ops 2)

So, I recently bought Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. While playing the game I noticed a bunch of things about the game that I realized I hated and felt we're very sub par and executed poorly. For starters, the knifing in the game is absolutely horrendous, I will literally knife first and then all of a sudden I am the one dying which makes no sense at all. Next up are the games graphics which aren't any better then the original Black Ops graphics. Hell, Modern Warfare 2 and 3 have very noticeable graphical differences. Black Ops 2 and 3 look like they are both run on the same engine with absolutely no differences between the two graphically. Next up is the spawning which absolutely sucks major balls, I can't begin to tell you how many times I spawn right in front of someone with my back to them.
This last and final thing that pisses me off is a big one that has made it so I can't even play the damn game. It must be an error in the game that causes it to freeze because before it can even load the multiplayer screen it freezes and shows an error code in the top right corner of my screen that reads 22.0.-1which I have attached a picture of the error code to this blog as well.
This fucking error has made my sixty dollar purchase feel like the dumbest thing I have done in a while. Why the fuck are game company's like Activision releasing these games without finding out most of the major bugs that cause things like this. Let me break down why I think this is happening.
I changed my default game mode in the game to multiplayer which means that it immediately goes to the multilayer once the game loads up instead of me having to choose that from the original main menu. I believe that this is the culprit for the game freezing up on me and making it absolutely worthless.
I mean, haven't these company's learned anything from Bethseda's huge blunder with Skyrim and not fully testing that game as well? Not to mention Kingdoms of Amalor too.
All of these problems are stupid, we as consumers are paying top dollar for these games and getting sub par games that have barley been tested and result in us not being able to play said games and company's like Bethesda, Activision and EA not really giving a fuck about us because they have already recieved their money. I'm tired of it, I have given up on said company's. THEY don't care about us, all they care about is money and getting that money as soon and as fast as they can regardless of how broken their games are upon release. THAT'S A FACT!!!!

Have a good night.

Blogger Finally has an iPhone app

I'm so excited as I type this post out on my iPhone. I only wish that this app had come out sooner as I have always wanted some other way to post blogs then only being able to do it via my computer. I have a feeling that I will be using this a LOT!!!!! So be ready for that.

Indie Game and Zynga

So, I am sitting here watching Indie Game: The Movie and playing FarmVille 2 while drinking a beer.  To be honest, I am a bit bored.  This movie is actually really good, gives you a great insight on how the people developing these games feel during their process of making a game from scratch, the middle of it, the end product and all the shit that happens in between those three things.  The thoughts from the men in this movie are what intrigue me the most, the human aspect of not wanting to fail makes this movie a great movie.  All of the gentlemen in this movie have their hearts on their sleeves the whole time.  You are seeing a piece of them that only the closest people in their lives get to see, in retrospect...

you are seeing who they really are.

I'm loving it and in some way feel that I am connecting with them in some minute way, I know how they feel, they seem like people who I would get along with, people who are kindred spirits and I like that.

So onto the other thing that I mentioned at the top of this blog.  FarmVille 2 ugh.

I'm playing it right now as we speak, waiting for a dame got to finish it's allotted time limit so that I can harvest the milk from it's life giving tit because I have a challenge to finish with the milk that it gives, I NEED IT!!!  Zynga has once again found a way to make a horribly addicting game that will most likely draw in every house mom in the country and slowly suck the life out of all of them.  Something interesting has happened though and if I remember correctly Zynga recently has filed for bankruptcy and closed down their studios.  I feel bad for the people who worked there, the people who coded and did the art for it and just put all this time and effort into these games and who are now out of a job.  I hope that some how they will rise out of the ashes that were once Zynga these people can make something else, something awesome and something that I would someday want to play.

I think that I have babbled enough in this post, to be honest I feel strange and not really like my chipper self.  I'm off now, bey.

Supporting Some Awesome People

I am posting tonight to just bring some attention to some awesome web sites, youtube pages and just all around awesome people.  These are things that are must see and made by some of the most talented people that I know.  The first thing I want you to check out is:

website: http://willterrell.com/
Twitter: @willterrell
Instagram: willterrell
Will Terrell is a man who I am following on Twitter , Instagram and if he had a YouTube page then I would be subscribed to that as well.  I'm assuming that Will has an actual job some where but for the most part makes these awesome sketches which I'm sure he gets paid for in some way as well.  Ever since viewing this mans art and sketches I have begun to see people in the same way that he sketches them.  Often times thinking to myself, "how would Will Terrell draw that person.".  Followed by the image in my head and then a low chuckle once I finally have the mental image.  I wish that he had a Penny-Arcade type comic that he would put these people in, I'm sure it would do very very well.  Will is a person who has great talent when it comes to his style of art, I can not express to you how much I enjoy viewing what he creates.  It seems now that I am just talking him up to you(the viewer), but please, if you do one thing today that is out of your normal routine.  Make it viewing Will's site.  You wont regret it.

Next up on the old block is a friend of mine's YouTube page.  Here we go.

YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/superbadfilm?feature=results_main
I have a friend that I work with named Praseut Yang.  He created a YouTube page called SuperBadFilm which specializes in videos that are primarily in the Hmong language.  A lot of his videos have sub-titles as well, but he does have a few that do not.  Almost all of his videos deal with Hmong culture and the norms set upon them thru family traditions and what not.  His YouTube page is nothing short of amazing.  He has garnered over 4,000 subscribers and over a million views in the short time that Praseut has started his film company.  The editing on these videos is great as well and to be honest, Praseut has given me a ton of pointers when it comes to editing the videos that I make for my YouTube page.  He is a great friend and an equally great film maker.  So go check out his page today, don't forget to subscribe to it and watch some of the vids.  I'm sure that once you watch them you will be giving them "likes" as if they were going out of style^_^

So that's all, I feel really passionate about both of the people who I have mentioned in this blog.  Both are awesome people and have been able to make something that has meaning, value and substance in a world of people doing the same thing over and over again.  These pages deserve your views and you owe it to yourself to check something out that will most likely blow your mind.

Until next time.

Fantasy Football

So this is the first year I have ever participated in a fantasy football league, it has been good with the exception of me losing my first match up by 1 1/2 points which pissed me off sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much.  As you can tell it's retarded.  As to the reasons why I lost, here goes.

Reason number 1: Eli Manning is a cock hungry man lover and was thinking about all the cock that he was going to eat and it distracted him so that he played like total garbage.

Reason number 2: Baltimore Ravens head coach decided to take Ray Rice out of the game with 11 minutes left to let the second string running back get some action.  Little did he know, I needed Rice to get more 1 1/2 more points in order to win my fantasy match up.  So, as you can guess...
The ravens head coach can go fuck him self and then get his dick chopped off for all I care.

Fuck your second string running back, I have a match up to win.

Anyways, this post was WAYYYYYYY graphic so sorry for that, but I hate to lose and tonight I lost which puts me in a shitty mood.

BEY!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, as a heads up, don't forget to check out my YouTube page at http://www.youtube.com/theflarida
I will most likely be posting a video tonight as well, so look froward to that.

Warrior

So, I just finished the movie Warrior.  Wow.  Movie was so amazing and epic.  Such a great story, drama, passion, suspense, action and pure emotion.  Warrior had it all.  At least two or three times during the movie I wanted to cry due to two brothers fighting with everything they had and a son having to console his drunken father.  Damn, this movie had everything a great movie should have.  Hands down one of my top five favorite movies of all time, HANDS DOWN!!!!!  I have to get this movie on Blu-Ray now, I would imagine that the special features that come with the movie would be just as epic as the movie itself, I want to know everything about this movie.

On a semi related note...

I love special features that come with the movie's I buy.

That is another reason why i generally only buy Blu-Ray's as well, they tend to come with a bit more in the special features department then a DVD does.  Take Forgetting Sarah Marshal for example.  The DVD had some awesome special features, however, the Blu-Ray had all of the DVD's special features along with like eight more things attached to it like a sing along with Infant Sorrow's songs.

Now back to Warrior.

If you haven't seen it yet then watch it as soon as possible, you will not regret it.

Anime Nerd

So, something wonderful has happened, something you could put right up there with Christmas and Birthdays.  What is happening is...

MY WIFE IS WATCHING NARUTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have done it folks, I have made her into an anime nerd just like myself.  This took years and years of making her watch anime with me, it is now official, the battle has been won.  Although she is now watching Naruto I have gotten her to watch other anime's as well, these include Darker Than Black, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood and other various anime's.  I feel like this is the real starting point folks, now I can finally introduce her to One Piece, Bleach and Initial D.  This could be chalked up to being one of the happiest days of my life.

Now if only I could get her to read Manga, then we would be set. ^_^(Asian smiley face)

What's your favorite anime, leave your answer in the comments below.  Have a good night.

How Have you Been?^_^

Well, it's been a while since I have written a blog, so I have decided to change that and finally write one today.  I am feeling the inspiration.

So as of lately I have been focusing more on my youtube page which is youtube.com/theflarida

I recently bought an editing software as well to further my videos along and have been trying to make them better in quality and comedy.  Not to mention I have also been doing vlog's which are fun but to be honest are incredibly boring, I'm not really sure how people make money off of doing vlog's but some how they do.  I have also been doing some Modern Warfare 3 game play and commentary which is fun but sometimes they can just drag on due to the game and map you are playing.  I'm not a big fan of just releasing a video of me talking and eight minutes of game play going.  The thing I am really trying to do is find a way to make all of this stuff work while trying to find my own way and style to make these videos in a way that will make them stand out and garner some sort of attention.  So that's what I have been doing lately.

But most importantly...

How have you been? ^_^

The Comp is Back

So, for the last week in a half we have not had our computer because it has been with best Buy and their affiliates that fix computers that have taken a dive.  Turns out the power supply had burnt out and since I had upgraded the original power supply they did not fix it.  It's cool though, I had a feeling that this might happen.  When we picked it up today I bought a new power supply and now I am typing this blog.  Fortuantly I just bought the same exact type of power supply that I got last time.  I'm pretty sure that I know what burnt out my power supply, it was most likely a combination of always being on and accumulated dust through out the computer's insides.  before I put the new power supply in I made sure to blow it out with some canned air and then put the new power supply in.  Now...

IT"S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So with my computer being fixed I have finally been able to play Diablo 3.  I haven't really played a whole lot of it but it's alright so far, I wouldn't say that it's crazy good at this point in the game but who knows, maybe once I've gotten through act two my opinion on it will change.  I do have to give blizzard credit for the graphics, compared to Diablo 2 they are a million times better and the game runs so smooth.  The only thing that is bugging me so far is the fact that there is not a skill tree what so ever, most dungeon crawlers always have some sort of a skill tree.  Although this does bug me just a little I do have to give Blizzard props for trying something new, something that most of their fans were not expecting.  Also the way they have it isn't that bad, it's an interesting idea that does work well, it's just going to take a while for me to get used to.  All and all, it's not to bad so far and I am really excited to play through the game and enjoy it as well.

On to the topic of Dungeon crawlers, there is another one coming out soon and it is called Torchlight 2.  I have the first Torchlight on my steam account and it is not a bad game, just get's a bit repetitive like most dungeon crawlers do after you have played them for long enough.  The thing about Torchlight that bugs me the most is actually the opposite of what bugs me on Diablo 3.  It's Torchlight's skill tree that bugs me.  Basically all three classes(Destroyer, Alchemist and Vanquisher) have the same three skill trees just with different names.  The first one is an experience booster/looter, the second one is like a basic magic one and the third skill tree is based on each classes specific skill.  It reminds me a lot of the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance, every character literally had the same attack, just a different name and animation but did the same exact type of damage as all of the other characters special attacks.  It bugged me so much.  I still have yet to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for that reason.  Other than that one issue Torchlight is a pretty good game, I would recommend that you go get it on steam, I believe it's pretty cheap as well since Torchlight 2 comes out soon.

I guess this blog turned into a game type blog as opposed to a getting my computer type blog.  Oh well.

Until next time.

Fresno Grizzlies

So Last Wednesday my family and I along with two friends of mine went to a Fresno Grizzlies game and had an awesome time.  I felt it needed to be shared because we got some awesome pics of all of us at the game and I don't really have a whole lot of pics in my blogs.  So here it is.

First up is a picture of Jose, Manske and myself during the game.  Jose and Manske are two of my friends from Sonora, all of us worked at the same casino so it was really nice to see these guys again.  I think at this point we were like two beers in and feeling pretty good.  We ended up drinking a lot of Tecate that night and lets just say that it's not as forgiving the next day.

Arily and Caleb took a pic together.  It was nice because both my wife and Caleb seemed to enjoy the game a lot.  We don't go to a lot of things like this so it was nice to get out of the house with the whole family for a day of fun and excitement.  Plus Caleb seemed to be really into the game, almost like he was in awe or something like that.

Mikel had some fun but he is kind of at that age where if he doesn't like something then it's really downhill from there.  I think he enjoyed the game for like ten minutes and then spent the rest of the game playing on my Iphone.  But, we got him out of the house and I'm thinking that the more we go to these games the more he will start to like Baseball.

We have Jose and Caleb in this pic.  As you can see both of them are the whitest Mexicans I know and they kind of look alike as well, I think that Jose could pass for Caleb's uncle if we tried to convince someone that he was.

And last but not least we have one of our fun make shift family pics.  This is usually how pics of the four of us go, one of the kids is trying to get away and the other is happy, it's just how we are.

After it was all said and done we had a pretty good time.  I was happy to be hanging out my good friends and my wonderful family the whole time.  We also got free In-N-Out that night as well which was a way added bonus.  I think we are going to go to another game here soon, the Fresno Grizzlies park is an awesome place to see a fun and cheap game.  You walk in there and it feels like you are a major league game, it just has that awesome feel to it.  So if you get a chance hit up a game or two and bring the family with you or some friends.

Until next time.

Trying to Get Fit

So recently I have noticed that my gut has gotten just a little bit out of control.  Now, the people who know me are probably like, "What?!  You are skinny as fuck!".  Unfortuantly that is not the case.  So I decided to start doing some cardio, push up's and sit up's recently and I feel a little bit better, granted I have only been doing this for the last three days.  We are fortunate to have a pool in the condo complex that we live in so I have been swimming a bunch of laps after I get home from work.  This led me to a discovery.  I am horribly out of shape and I would suppose that I am in the worst shape of my life.  Now i'm not morbidly obese or something like that, I just know that my body could be a bit better then it is as of now.  So I have been doing a lot of swimming and to be honest I had forgotten how good of a workout it actually is.  When I am done with the set amount of laps that I choose I usually feel wiped out, especially for the last two days but today was definitely different.  I felt way better after today's swim then I have the last two days.  I think my body is starting to get used to some sort of exercise again.  And well, push up's and sit up's are easy enough to do so that's why I have been doing those as well.  It's time to pump me up and slim me down.

Well, I don't have anything else big to share so lets do quickie news, I haven't done that in a while.
Ready...
Set...
GO!!!!!

1)  My youngest son has started to walk, it's amazing but he is now getting into everything and anything

2)  About a month ago we welcomed a new niece to the family, my sister in law gave birth to such a beautiful little girl.

3)  My sister is going to be staying with my mom for about two months sometime next month until her classes start up again.  I cant wait to see her.

4)  I think I am finally out of that honeymoon phase at my new job, but I am still loving the job.

5)  I have also met up with a lot of people I went to school with thanks to this new job.  All of them have been super nice.  A big thank you to all of you.

That's all for tonight everyone.  Until next time.

Blockbuster Movie Rentals

Hello everyone, how are you this evening.  I'm good, just typing, NOW ON TO THE INFO.

I'm here to talk to you tonight about Blockbuster, yes, the movie rental store and yes, we do have a Blockbuster card.  So, we have the Blockbuster movie pass, basically it is the Blockbuster version of Netflix. To be honest I like the Blockbuster movie pass, it allows us to get a movie by mail and when we are done watching that movie we can take it to a Blockbuster and get a new movie right away for free, after we are done with that movie then we take it back to Blockbuster and we get the next movie on our Que sent to us.  This is what I really like about it, you basically can get two movies right away if you watch them fast enough.  Well, that is what I like about it, but there is really one flaw in their whole movie renting game, and here it is.

OH MY LANTIS!!!!!!!!

So, there it is, you can not do anything but watch the DVD or Blu-Ray that you get.  This pissed me off when I found out about this because I am an avid fan of watching the special features of a movie, sometimes that is one of the main reasons why I even get the movie, especially on Blu-Ray since they seem to come with more special features then a DVD.  So basically when you rent a movie from Blockbuster, this is what you get, just a movie and it bugs me.

Now, I know I may seem retarded for letting this get on my nerves since technically you aren't paying full retail price, you are only paying about maybe 20-25% of what the actual movie is worth if you rent it from the store. So it isn't so far fetched that they would do this.  But come on!  What gets me the most heated is that they are joining forces with these movie company's to make sure that you don't get the full experience and that you have to go out and buy the whole movie to see everything included with the movie.  I don't know about you but I don't really go out and buy a bunch of movies, especially after I have seen them.  The only time I get a movie is when I really really loved it, and even then I feel like I am wasting my money to an extent due to the fact that I can probably just get it off of my Netflix or Blockbuster pass.  I don't know, it just seems like the lengths they are going to to make sure we don't get to see everything is a bit out of hand, almost to the point of seeming like they are taunting me for the fact that I don't have the actual movie in my movie library at home.

What do you think about this?  Am I over reacting or is this something that I should be mad about?

Well, that is all for tonight, I know that the last two blogs have been more of info/ranting, I promise that the next blog I write will be more upbeat and actually happy.

Until next time.

Our House Deposit(Lack There of)

So in March I made a blog talking about how property management places will try to screw you over when it comes to your deposit, well, it happened.(Reference this blog post  http://theflarida.blogspot.com/2012/03/boxes.html)

We finally received our check with what we got back from our Deposit and it was way lower then what my wife and I had imagined.  Out of a $1,000 deposit we received $443.75 of that back, WOW, are you serious, below is a picture of the "Itemized" list of expenses that they needed to make the house ready for a new tenant. Lets delve deeper into this.

So, the first thing.
$118.75 for Carpet Cleaning.  I'm not going to lie, this is the one thing that I feel is legitimate, we did not clean the carpet int he house or have someone come and clean it, I feel like this is justified and legit.  Carpet cleaning isn't cheap, so yeah, this is good.

Second.
$187.50 for House cleaning.  I would understand this if we had not cleaned anything in the house at all, but my wife cleaned both bathrooms inside and out along with the other rooms in the house.  The only things that weren't completely done were the floors which had not been mopped but had been swept and the upstairs carpet had been vacuumed.  The Kitchen was the worst, we did not clean off the counters, clean inside the fridge or the stove.  Other then those things we cleaned everything else.  I'm not sure what house cleaning company's charge but isn't this a little expensive for the kitchen and floors.  What do you think.

Third and Last(This one is my favorite).
$250.00 for Window Cleaning(Estimate).  WTF!!!!  Are you kidding me, that's not even the real bill for that, it's a guess at what it would have been if they had asked the cleaning company.  This is the most bullshit of them all, I think that even with just the two charges above we would have been fine, but this charge is the most ridiculous of them all.  Window cleaning should of been included with the House Cleaning when the company who did it cleaned the house.  Like I said already, the thing that pisses me off the most is that there is no way this is the correct amount, to be honest I really feel like this is some sort of made up thing in order to squeeze as much money out of our deposit as they could.

So, there you have it.  This is the proof that your property management or landlord will undoubtedly try to screw you over when it comes to you getting back your deposit.  So take this information with you and use it to your advantage, use it to help you out as much as you can because this will most likely happen 9 times out of 10.  So there, you have been warned.

A Little Stressed

So, we are doing the BIG move on Wednesday the 21st , my last day at my current job is on Saturday the 17th and my start date at my new job is unknown.  So it has me a little stressed out.  I was told that it would take about 2 weeks for my background stuff to go thru and it has been two weeks as of today.  I'm hoping that I get a call from them real soon with a start date so that I can get some of this weight off of my shoulders, or else I will have to look for some kind of work in Oakhurst until my new job calls me and tells me when I can get my sweet buns in there and work.  Anyone know anywhere haha.

On to other things, less stressfull things.

I have gotten back into playing Skyrim since they fixed the many problems that it was having and let me say, I missed Skyrim sooooooooooooooo much.  It's such an awesome game and just all out amazing.  As to my other broken game, well, it is still broken and that makes me sad.  I really really want to play kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, the game is fucking amazing but ti does not work, hopefully there will be some kind of a patch issued by them soon because i would really really like to start playing that game again T_T

Here comes some quickie news.
Ready....
GO!!!!!

I watched the complete first season of Game of Thrones and it was awesome, I recommend all of you go and watch it right now.

My son Mikel yelled at me tonight before I went to work and said, "DADDY, Get down".  It was the funniest thing ever.

My wife and I have been watching this BBC show Misfits.  It's about these delinquents on probation who have super powers.  It's hilarious, crude, dark and Witty.  Go watch it on HULU.

My last indoor soccer game will be this Monday, lets hope I score a goal.

Until next time.

Boxes

and Boxes and Boxes and Boxes...

That is how my day is going to go tomorrow, one box after the other full of stuff that my wife, kids and I have acquired over the past two years.  The goal for tomorrow is going to be six boxes, should be pretty easy to say the least, it's just a boring task, not to mention repetitive.  The big move with a moving van and all that jazz should be happening on March 21st, that one is going to be exciting and sucky at the same time, at least after that is done there will only be one more thing to do.  That thing is clean the damn house and be done with it, drop it like a bad habit.  I'm sure my wife and I will have a splendid time cleaning that damn house, hopefully I can get my parents to watch our boys so we can just knock out all of the cleaning in a timely manner.

Over the years I have learned that no matter how much you clean and what not, the property management or the actual landlord will just have it professionally done anyways.  Thus taking more money out of the deposit that you originally paid to get in said house.  The other thing is that 8/10 times the landlord or property management will try to F you over as much as they can.  It's almost like it's their goal to make sure that you get the least amount as possible with them doing the least amount of work as possible.  For example; the property management that we go thru has it in our contract that we can have the carpets done professionally on our own at our own expense which sucks balls.  Or they can do it themselves, but here is where they get you, and this is actually in our contract mind you.  They will charge $100 dollars just to call a company to come and clean the carpets.  That's right folks, we get charged $100 F-ing dollars for them to make a five to ten minute phone call.  What kind of shit is that!  I wouldn't be surprised if they had a "most money taken from a deposit" contest and they are always trying to break the highest amount.  Now I want to know what it is, maybe the person who gets the most out of a deposit gets a bonus at the end of the year.  I hope our person wins.

So, what I was trying to get at before I went off the deep end is this.

Your landlord and/or property management doesn't not want to give that deposit back, they will take as much as they can from it.  That is a FACT!!!!!  Remember these words of wisdom.

Good bey.

Videos/Moving

I've been trying to make more content for my youtube page(youtube.com/theflarida) latley and it's going a little slower then I expected.  However I have been enjoying the content that I have been putting out, I have also been paying attention to other people's pages as well.  Im kind of trying to get an idea for trends and other things that I think my demographic would enjoy seeing from me.  As of right now I am only putting out vlogs and Modern Warfare 3 gameplay, the hard part is trying to do something witht hose two that have not been done yet.  So many people are doing the same thing that i am doing that sometimes it makes it hard to come up with some fresh ideas.  But, I am still trying and am satisfied with what I am putting out, I just have to find a way to put out content on a more consistent basis.  I know I have touched on this before but I am still working on getting some editing software so that i can eventually make actual videos that have substance, story and some comedy in them.  It's coming, I promise.

Onto other news.

We finally got the keys to our new place in Oakhurst, we went down Friday and payed the first months rent and put some boxes inside the place.  Now to do the big huge move that I am definetly not looking forward to in any way shape or form, trust me, it's going to suck.  I dont mind moving persay, but when it comes to the physical act of "moving", well that's when I start to not like it.  Luckily I have a bunch of friends who can help out with the move so that should make it less of a chore and more of a fun thing to do.  Who knows, maybe we can have a big going away party in the empty house that we are moving from, that would be pretty awesome.

Another thing.

I want to find musicians to play some music with.  That is all.

Good bey

Packing Sucks

So...

My wife and I are in the middle of packing for our move to Oakhurst Ca since I recently got a new job that requires us to move to the small town.  We are both excited about the move, but the packing part is killing us.  It's crazy how much crap you find out you really own when you start to pack it all into boxes.  I mean, I thought we were pretty good on the, "Not having shit we don't need" side, but boy was I wrong about that.  Luckily we have till the end of the month to be out of our place so we have plenty of time to pack.  It just feels very arduous and annoying to have to put everything into boxes, move it and then unpack it all once again.  The funny thing is that we will probably be doing this in another year because we both plan on buying a house when our year long lease is over at the condo we are going to rent.  Anyways, moving sucks so onto a different topic.

Pay day is tomorrow and I could not be happier for it.  We don't really need the money or anything but gosh dang it I still love pay day.  It's like a mini Christmas that you had to work for.  The only down side is having to give that money to your bills every dang month, NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I should be hearing from my new job soon pertaining to my start date.  It's been a week since I turned in my back grounds packet and they said about a week or two, I'm hoping that it will coincide nicely with my last day at my current job.  To be honest, I would very much like to go to work at the new job as soon as possible.  I'm excited to learn about this new casino, it's always exciting to see how a casino runs as a whole and to see how it's employee's like working at said casino.  This has always been something that has excited me.  It's kind of weird but once you have worked in a casino for a while you will understand how a casino employee feels going from one casino to another.  I typed the word "casino" a shit load of times in those above sentences.

Well, that is all for today.  Until next time my pretties!

The Most Awesome Thing

So, if you have read my post on the PS3 game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning then you already know all of the troubles I have been having with it.  Well, I made a youtube video showcasing what has been happening to me and posted it on the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning facebook page.  Well guess what?  They commented on that post saying they were sorry for the trouble's I was having and also posted a link that I could go to so that I could post the video in their forums in hope's of it getting fixed by the dev's.  Oh my lantis, this issue was pissing me off due to the fact that i actually really like this game a lot, it's fun, plays great and looks amazing.  What they did has totally redeemed 38 Studios in my mind.  Instead of ignoring me they helped me out, submitted my problem and showed me where I could submit my problem.  They were totally kind and understanding of what was going on.  38 Studios has made a lifetime fan out of me, I will always buy there game's because they are fun and now I know how far they are willing to go for their fans and customers.  I just wanted to post an update to the problem I was having, that's really all this post is, it's also a thank you to 38 Studios.

Until next time.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning(BROKE)

Hello everyone, im going to rant a little bit in this post so bare with me.

So basically I am tired of playing games on my PS3 and having them perform like shit.  Two out of three games that I have recently bought have both had problems with performance.  The first would be Skyrim, but everyone already knows all about the issues that plague that game.  The second is a game called Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, this game was fine to begin with but then out of nowhere I start getting all of these damn problems during the game play.  So I decided to look online to try and find if anyone else is having the same problems as me.  I come to find that yes, multiple people are having the same problems, not as many as I would have thought but still some.  The first problem is with the voices not playing while the text is displayed during chat with NPC's, this problem really isn't that big of a problem for me, whatever.  The second is the frame rate issues while fighting multiple mobs of enemies, espeacially when you get groups of over five that all have combat animations that are complex as opposed to just them hitting or something like that.  And now the main problem, the problem that has been pissing me off the most, the problem that has recently made it to where I cant even play this game for more than 5 minutes is that it just freezes after a small amount of play.  Out of the last five times I have tried playing the game it has done this five times, the game is virtually un-playable at this point.  Its a shame.

Possible fixes to this problem have been to delete the 4gb data that downloads onto the PS3 harddrive when you first play the game and then to reinstal it.  Somehow that might fix the problem due to that info being currupt or something like that, there really wasn't a definite answer on the forums to why this would help.  The second thing is to go into the options and turn off the connection to EA's servers while you play the game so that it somehow doesn't effect your gameplay.  While reading the forums I saw that about 50% of people saw that those two options fixed the problem and the other 50% saw that nothing changed at all after trying these "solutions".

So this brings me to my conclussion, my closing thoughts if you will.  Are you ready?  because I know I am...

Stop releasing games that are broken video company's.  All this shit seemed to have started with Skyrim, Bethesda released a game that they new was riddled with bugs, glitches and various other problems but still released it in order to make a profit sooner as opposed to fix the problem and make a profit later than they wanted.  Not to mention their so called "patches" to fix the problem which by the way made the problems happen even more for me.  In fact, I never even noticed said problems for Skyrim until I downloaded the damn patch onto my PS3.  But Im getting off topic.  I just in the long run want to thank 38 Studios for releasing a game that has problems that make it to where I can not play the game at all on my PS3.  I pay $60 for a game that is unplayable and thats bull shit and should never happen.  The other thing that is bullshit is that it only seems to be games for the PS3 that are effected by all of these problems.  There is something wrong with your software or your gaming system in general Sony, fix this shit because at this point Im about ready to throw my PS3 away and upgrade(yes, I said upgrade) to an X-Box 360 because it seems like all of their games run just fine.  Or as a third option, how about video game company's start making games like they used to.  When I owned a PS2 I never once had issues like these, in fact I had no issues at all because all of my games ran perfectly and how they were meant to run.  Fuck, even some of the horrible ports ran better, did anyone play Grandia 2 for PS3, that game was riddled with glitches and asthetic bugs but still ran like a dream when you played it and you know why, because it had a solid base even for a shitty port.  What Im trying to say is, make games better.  Instead of releasing them sooner then you should for profit take that time to make them better and fine tune the fucking game instead of making your fans and customers suffer.

Quick question:  Any of you out there having these same problems or a problem with a different game?  Let me know in the comments below.

That is all.

Hubrice and Glory

Your the epitome of glory while you bask in your win
There has never been another like you since the beginning
Your unrivaled in your actions, a legend at the least
All of us look up to you while you look upon the weak
But every reign has to end, you cant always be the king
We've been brought here but an almighty to remind you of this
There is always someone stronger, faster and better
Your hubrice has been allowed to go on much to long

Chorus:
You stand there defiant till the end
This hammer has fallen swiftly fromt he heavens
If you would have just listened to what we wanted you to do
You would still be here on this throne with all your glory

You have now been humbled by an almighty being
Not one of perfection but one of justice
Who's to say that everything he chooses is right
But when your at the top you make the rulles to abide by
We will be watching you, waiting for your return
But not to welcome you, to make sure you never rise
We've been chosen to monitor your progress back from the depths
We dont think you'll make it very far thru the brine and the muck

Chorus:
You stand there defiant till the end
This hammer has fallen swiftly fromt he heavens
If you would have just listened to what we wanted you to do
You would still be here on this throne with all your glory

As you grow older we will always be here to rimind you
Of the life you used to have and the fate that have fallen upon you
We realize its a harsh existence but one that has already been chosen
By an almighty being who will never forget
You will live the rest of your life with this mark of shame
Until the day you die this will always remain
When you make it to the gates of the afterlife you can give a rebutle
But until then live life in the brine and muck

A New Job

Just as the title of this blog implies, I have accepted a new job at another casino that is located in Coarsegold CA.  The casino is called Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino and I have been given the job of Slot Floor Supervisor.  I am very excited to start this new job, we are going to be moving thanks to this job offer as well, most likely to Oakhurst CA which will bring us a lot closer to both of our parents.  The job at this new casino is a lot like the one I have been doing at Black Oak Casino with the exception of me being inside the cage, this time I am out on the casino floor for my whole eight hours.  I used to do a job similar to the one I have gotten, being on the casino floor is a lot of fun, I get to interact with all the guests and the other employees.  I'm looking forward to this very very much.

Now on to other stuff.

I have been playing this again,
Although it has been a while so I have been using the wiki a lot more then I probably should lol, but either way I'm happy i'm back to playing this game.  I've also got it for my iphone so I've been taking advantage of that outlet as well as my computer.

You know what, lets do some quickie news, BYAHHHHHH!!!!!!

We have been watching Ponyo a whole lot in our house due to my 2 year old loving it with all of his heart.  To be honest it's actually a great movie and most of the time I don't mind watching the movie with him.

My grandma is sick with the stomach flu, poor lady.  I wanted to take the family to see her today but she said no.  Lets hope that she gets better soon.

I was messing with my wife's facebook earlier since she left her profile logged in when I got onto our laptop, so this is what i wrote in her status.  "I go poo poo in my pee pee pants when I do the scoopy dance. Bleep bloop boopity doo".  She was only semi amused by this.

And that's all for quickie news.

Well, that's about all I have for you today, until next time.

Powers Part Two

Hello again, this is going to be the second part of what might be a reacurring theme that will happen every so often.  Back in mid 2011 I did Powers Part One which kind of show cased some super powers that I thought would be pretty cool to have.  Well, here's part two, enjoy.

Energy Projection-There are a couple of examples of this that you can use but the one Im going to use would probably be more like Cyclops and Havok's way of doing it.  The Energy projection im talking about would be able to be blasted from any part of the body and the main source of energy used as the projctile would be solar.  Cyclops and Havok pull there energy from the sun's rays, think of them like a human solar panel.  I like to think that the harder you concentrate the bigger and more powerful the beam would be.  I guess a good example to use would be the bigger the strain the stronger the blast.  Now, this is in fact my favoirte power but the biggest draw to it is the fact that you are now a glass cannon.  You have all this power at your hands but something as simple as a strong hit to the head can take you out and its not like your impervious to bullets or anything.  But, besides that last fact this is still my favorite power of them all.

Teleportation-Now, there are multiple forms of teleporting that are used in the Marvel U, Im going to be more relating to Nightcrawlers version.  His is more of a short and fast teleporter, even at his best he was still only able to teleport like two miles at the most.  This style is best suited for fighting due to you being able to hit an enemy and then teleport to there blind side again and achieve another hit.  It could also be used to juggle an enemy in the air or teleport them to a distance where a large fall would either mame or kill your enemy.  The only downside of this is that you really have to see where you are teleporting otherwise if you try to do it into a closed off room you might teleport into the actual geometry of a wall or some other object which would kill you technically severing your limbs or what ever part is in the wall.  Kind of sucky^_^

Telekinesis-This power is definetly in my top five powers due to the fact that it works like a muscle, the more you use it and work it out the more powerful it becomes.  In a sense this is almost like the ultimate power due to its many, and I mean many functions.  At it's strongest you could pick up multiple cars and just fling them without having to move an actual muscle in your body.  Or you can use it like a force push/pull, I mean, you could do so much it's rediculous.  Look at Jean Grey, at her strongest she was a beast until the Pheonix Entity took over which technically amplified her powers to an even greater extent but Im getting off topic with that.  With more use and control you could even construct a psychic barrier in order to protect your self or your party from bullets or other kinds of projectiles.  Hell, you could even use it to literally crush soemone's organs inside of their body, it's such an awesome power and so viscious in the wrong or right hands.

Well, there you have it, those are the three powers for this post, I will have to think of some other powers that I enjoy to be in the part three of this series.  Until then, PEACE!!!!!!!!!

NEW NEW NEW(un-caps)

Im not really sure what is up witht he title but I thought it looked cool, so yeah, it is what it is.

I got an awesome call over my weekend for an interview at another casino closer to my parents and my wife's parents.  Im excited and have to get some new interview cloths so that I can look fresh to death.  Here's a fun fact for all of you.  Anytime I have had an interview for a job I have always gotten said job, I have a flawless record haha.  Hopefully we can keep it the same way, if not then my streak will be broken and that would suck.

On to other stuff.
Actually, quickie news.

I have been playing a game called Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, the game is pretty bad ass.  It's like a mix between Skyrim's open world, Mass Effect/Dragon Age's decision system, Devil May Cry's battle system and the visuals of World of Warcraft.  As you can tell from my description it is an interesting mix of some of the gaming industries best games and the even crazier thing is that it works out perfectly.  It's fun, enthraling and still leaves me wanting more.  I've been sucked into it, it owns my soul.

My son pooped on me the other night.

My new tattoo is scabing like crazy, it sucks.  Oh well, I knew what i was getting myself into ^_^

I forgot to wear my glasses tonight so i made a make shift eye patch but people made fun of it so i threw it away, poor eye patch.  I even drew an eye on it T_T

Im going to be making a new youtube video soon, so look forward to that, it's going to have a friend of mine it.  YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

And thats all for quickie news and this blog today, until next time people.

A Small Milestone

Hello everyone,

Today I just looked at my views and saw that I have finally broke the 1,000 blog views mark.  I know this doesn't seem like a big deal but it is to me and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who comes to this blog and reads the nonsense that I write.  I enjoy writing this blog even though i don't always write everyday and sometimes take a week off at a time but I'm still doing it and hopefully your still reading it.  So keep on reading, keep on enjoying and I will promise to keep writing, oh and to put more pictures up here since it is kind of rare that I do that.

So once again, thank you everyone.

Until next time.

My Tattoo's

So I recently went out and got a new tattoo at the local tattoo parlor near my house, the place is called West Side Ink and its located in Tuolumne.  Its a pretty bad ass shop and pretty well renowned around the area that I live due to it's owner, his name is Tree and everyone I've ever talked to about him and his tattoo's say that he is the best in Tuolumne County.  My tattoo was not done by Tree but instead was done by one of the other artists who happen to work at his parlor.  That mans name is Anthony and just to clarify, he is a bad ass with a tattoo gun.  I couldn't be happier with the way that my new tattoo came out, here are some reasons.

1.  The lines on my Tattoo are so smooth and precise it makes me want to cry
2.  He was such a down to Earth guy that I enjoyed the conversation that we had and I also ended finding out                 that we are neighbors.
3.  Last but not least my tattoo was pretty reasonably priced, he could have tried to take advantage of me but he did not(And I don't mean sexually^_^)

So getting the new tattoo has inspired me to talk about the other tattoo's I have, kind of give some commentary on them and what not.  So, join me on this trip down memory lane.

Tattoo #1
This is the first tattoo that I ever put on my body, as you can see it is a goth angel with the red and black for her back ground and is on the left side of my chest more near my left shoulder.  This image was from the album cover of the first EP that my old band(Forgotten Masterpiece) and I made.  I loved the image so much that I decided to get it tattoo'd on me, this piece took about 4-5 hours and unfortuantly is not done yet.  The wings are supposed to be the same color as the back ground but I never went back in to have it finished.  I got this tattoo when I was 22, it took a long time to find an image that I was passionate enough about to get it immortalized on my body.  I still love this tattoo to this day, I don't generally try to get images that I will regret in the future.  So that is number one, the first one, the one true love of my tattoo's, isn't she a beauty.

Tattoo #2

Ok, so this was the second tattoo that I got, I was 22 as well when I decided to get this one put on my right forearm.  This image is from Naruto, it's the Hidden Village of the Sand's crest, this and my third tattoo are two of the most nerdiest things I have on my body.  Now, this tattoo is bittersweet, I love it and this is what I wanted but as you can see the guy who did it sucked balls.  Believe it or not he was a professional and I paid $60 for this which now thinking about it was a huge rip off.  Despite the obvious flaws of this tattoo I still love it and I do plan on getting it fixed in the future.  I'm actually happy that i don't remember the guy's name who did this tattoo because I would be putting him on blast right now, he should really go back to being an apprentice because he still has a lot to learn.  Oh, and a side note, the guy was like in his 40's and was a "renowned"(I use that very loosely) tattoo artist in Tuolumne County.

Tattoo #3
Last but not least we are finally onto my third and final tattoo which was done last week.  I already explained who did this tattoo and how awesome he was so lets go into what this means and why I got it put on me.  So, if you have ever watched the animated series Avatar: The Last Air Bender or the shitty movie rendition that M. Night Shamalan called The Last Air Bender then you probably think that this looks familiar because it is the Water Tribe symbol.  Now, I originally was not going to get this, in fact, I was just going to get the water sign for Aquarius but that is when my awesome wife suggested getting the water tribe symbol since it kind of had the Aquarius sing in it already.  Kudos to that wonderful woman of mine^_^  So, I went and got it put on me, I like this tattoo a lot, it took me about 4 years from my last tattoo to this one, but I finally got another one, the lines are smooth and it just pops.  Anthony at West Side Ink did a great job and I urge everyone in the Tuolumne area to go get some work done by him, you wont regret it.

If you interested in getting a tattoo done by Anthony or one of the other artists at West Side Ink then give them a call, the phone number is 209-928-1968 or go in there and see them, the address is 18382 Bay Ave. Tuolumne, CA 95379.

Also I'm going to end this post with a question.  Do you have any tattoo's?  If so let me know what you have and why you got it.  Does it mean anything?  Were you tough about it or did it hurt like hell?  Well, until next time, later everyone.

I've Been Gone

Hello everyone,

So it's been a while since I last wrote and a lot has gone on in my life, all of which has been for the good and I really cant think of anything negative that has happened.  Anyways, to start off with a quick question(to my readers)...

How have you been?
What's new in your life?
Played any good games lately?

Now, back to me.

So my family and I took a trip to Corcoran CA for my sister in law's baby shower which was on February 4th.  It was an awesome trip, I had taken five days off from work which i planned along with my paid time off to get a whopping nine days off from my job.  It was well received and much needed.  I don't usually take this kind of time off very often, maybe like once a year when there is an occasion for it or something that just says, "take time off for me, it will be fun!".  Anyways, back to the story.  So we spent about 5 days in Corcoran during my nine day vacation.  Most of those days were spent preparing for the baby shower since my wife and my mother in law still had other things that needed to be ready for the big day.  We made a few Hanford trips for supplies and I also was able to finally use the $30 hot Topic Gift card that I had received from my sister during Christmas.  We also visited with friends and family like my brother in law(we watched Kung Fu panda 2 at his place...EPIC!!!!) and my good friend Jake.  Actually I was the only one who visited with Jake, I went to his place while the baby shower was going on, more on that as well.

As some of you know, my wife is a beautiful Mexican woman.  Which means that her mom is a typical traditional Mexican mom and she fed me until I felt like I was going to burst open from my stomach.  Holy poo!!!!!!!!!!  I ate sooooooooooooooOOOOOOOO much it was ridiculous but so delicious at the same time it shouldn't even be legal.  Now just to clear some stuff up.  My mother in law makes some of the most awesome authentic Mexican food in the world, I could eat her food for the rest of my life if possible.  Hell, I've even offered to have them move in with us when they get older just for this reason(Not the only reason but still a good one).  So the food she makes is bomb, its a FACT!!!!!  I'm guessing that i gained about ten pounds of much needed weight according to my mother in law.  It was nice, I am a bit more fat now but my Mexican food quota has been filled for a while.

Now on to visiting my friend Jake.  The day of the baby shower I went to Visalia to hang out with a good friend of mine while my wife and her family did the while baby shower thing.  Since this baby shower was not for my wife I got the ok to do what ever I wanted and not have to chill at the shower.  So onto my friend.  My buddy Jake is an engineer somewhere in Visalia, he is a bad ass guy and the reason why i listen to the awesome music that I listen to.  He recently bought a bad ass house which I stayed at and made fun of him for having so much room and nothing for all that space.  So our night started out at Buffalo Wild Wings but we were not able to get in, so we went to some restaurant in down town Visalia(I think on Main Street) before we went to the movies.  The restaurant was ok, it was a brewery as well.  The short story for that place is that the wings sucked and the beer was ok, I've had better.  Then we saw The Grey which was a great movie regardless of what people will tell you, so go see it now.  Then we went back to Jake's place for a bit and after that tried our luck again at getting into Buffalo Wild Wings and this time it was a great success.  I enjoyed their spicy garlic wings with a nice Blue Moon.  After we went back to his place and GOT IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!  Nah, just kidding, he busted out an air mattress for me and I proceeded to crash out like the old fogey that I am.  It was nice^_^

The last leg of our trip was to Mariposa to visit my parents, we spent two days there catching up with my family and letting them enjoy the company of ourselves and our sons.  My mom and dad are crazy for the kids since they don't get to see them that often.  It also help that my kids love their gramma and grandpa so much.  My oldest son had to get put in time out a couple of times at my mom's which was hilarious, my mom broke him in like w wild horse.  And my youngest Caleb finally loves my mom, in the beginning she used to scare him which was pretty good to see and had a serious laugh factor to it.  The wife and I even got a little alone time thanks to my parents watching the boys for a little bit for us, it was nice to have some time to our selves since we don't really get that at all.

So, to end this.  Our little vacation was fun, we all had a good time and got to see tons of family and some really good friends.  This is something that we don't really do very often, it was much needed.  I will start writing more regularly now that we are back from our trip.  So tomorrow should be a good blog as well, until then.

A Mood of...

I've got a fever and the only thing that can cure it is some blog work.

Hello everyone, lately I haven't had much inspiration to write in this blog.  Why you ask?  Well, I have been trying to think of ways to bring traffic to my blog and I am stumped.  I currently post stuff about it on my facebook and my twitter and even sometimes on my wife's facebook.  I try to shamelessly plug the fudge out of it until it can take no more, crying in the corner and begging me to stop plugging it every which way possible.  Well, I think that I finally gave into it's pleading.  Until I can find a better way to get traffic to this blog I will continue to be stumped.  But alas, I will not stop trying.  I will never give up.  I will most likely eat an unhealthy breakfast and I will definetly not stop using profanity(unless I'm around my children and even then it is a little iffy).  Sooooooooooooooo, maybe if you would like to help me out then plug my blog or give it a shout out on your facebook or twitter or any other kind of social outlet that you belong to.  It would help me out very very much.  So lets spread the word that their is a aspiring blogger who wants people to read his words and salivate over those words.  GO!!!!!!!!!!!

On to quick news and updates.

The 49er's lost today, its saddening because I was so hopeful of them going all the way to the Super Bowl this year, its been so long since they have been.  WHY GOD, WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!  Oh well, there is always next year right?  RIGHT????????

I have been playing a ton of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.  My goal is to at least prestige twice in the game.  I was able to prestige once in Black Op's so I should be able to hit my goal.

My youngest son Caleb who is 7 months old is walking around in his walker and it is the cutest thing int he whole world.  Sometimes he boxes his brother into a corner and then he cant get out, that's pretty funny to watch.  Caleb follows all of us around now, he so curious and adorable.

I finished reading Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.  I recommend that you all read or watch it, some of the best story and action around for a Manga/Anime.

That is all.

Manga and Movies

So I have been reading Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood lately since I have been devoid of great manga to read other then the weekly one's I read like Naruto, One Piece and Bleach.  I watched most of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood a couple of years back but I decided to start reading it since it was such a great story.  I mean, most times manga with back story kind of bore me but you get a lot of interesting back story in this manga that actually helps the plot and pulls you in, making you like these characters even more then you did before.  Chapters that would be boring to me in other manga's are captivating me in this one and making me want to invest more time into knowing these characters.  Then you get chapters that are all action and its like, "Holy Poop!!!!!!!  This is FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!"  That's no exaggeration, well, from me at least.  Anyways, I think that I'm about half way thru and since I never actually finished the anime I'm looking forward to finishing the manga so I can see what happens at the end of the series.  It should be good.  At least that is what I am hoping.

So I have been watching the Hunger Games trailer more and more, I am getting more and more interested in this movie with every new trailer that they release.  Although this movie is a Battle Royal clone, I am still going to go see it.  I like these movies and books where it pits teens against each other in an epic battle to the death and with a one man standing kind of attitude.  It kind of reminds me of The Running Man, oh my lanta that was a great movie.  If you have never seen it then you need to, the only down side to the movie is the unitards that they wear but it is shadowed buy the awesome-ness of the movie.  THAT'S A FACT!!!!!!  Two long story's short.  I am going to see The Hunger Games and the second thing is that you should read Battle Royal.  It is a manga and a great one at that, the only thing I will caution you about is that it is pretty gory and has nudity in it, if you don't like any of those things then don't read it.  But if you want an amazing story followed by great action and a mind fucking kind of plot then by all means find this manga and read it.  Actually you can read it free at m.mangafox.com so go right now.

What is one of your favorite manga's or movies that you have either read or seen.  Also is there a movie that your excited about that is coming out soon?  Let me know in the comments below.

It seems that tonight's blog was more about manga than movies, oh well, later.

Tags

I have been thinking about this for a while now and have been wanting to write a blog post about the "tags" that you are allowed to put at the end of every blog.  These tags are supposed to pertain to your blog, like the topic of it and any related key words.  You are allowed to have 20 words to use as tags so you have to choose those words wisely.  Lately I have been guilty of putting words in this section that do not pertain to my blog at all due to seeing that certain words will bring traffic to the blog.  I try to monitor my stats as much as possible and see where my traffic is coming from, why they are coming and what tags brought them to my site.  I have noticed that the words face and game will usually bring some people to the site since they seem to be popular search words.  But lately I have been thinking of new words to put in that could maximize my traffic.  Now, I know that this in its own way is cheating, but isn't the point of a blog to have people view it.  I mean we are sometimes writing for ourselves but why would we put our thoughts and Ideas on the Internet if we did not want someone to view them, right?

Another reason why I try to maximize my traffic is to get my "Monetize" option open, I would someday like this blog or any other site I own to produce some sort of profit.  If not for all of my everyday bills and life then maybe just a little extra spending money.  It would be nice to say I have a site that produces some sort of profit, extra money is always a good thing.  Actually the dream is to make a site that gets as big as the Penny Arcade site, that is the dream and the goal I am always reaching for.  Someday maybe I will get there, until then, I will just keep trying.

Any thoughts to this topic?  Chime in with a comment at the bottom of this blog or if you have any advice then chime in as well.  Later.

HUNGRY!!!!!!!!!!!

As you can tell from my title I am hungry right now, it was a long and awesome day.  In door soccer was really fun tonight, we ended up winning but the other team only had four players but still wanted to play a legit game so we were cool with that.  Let me tell you something, the only four players that showed up for the other team were all older Mexican gentlemen and they could play, we won by a lot but that still doesn't dismiss the fact that they kicked ass in every aspect to the point where I wished that they were on our team.  Also all four of the guys were super cool, the whole game was just a lot of fun with some dudes who you could learn from just by watching them.  But gash damn, after the game I was super hungry and I have still not eaten anything yet, but I will very soon, like very very soon, JUST WAIT FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!

In some other semi life changing news.

I met my dad's side of the family, I have never met any of those kind people before and they have virtually been absent from my whole life until today.  Before i go on, I suppose some back story is going to be needed.  My conception was a total accident, I was by no means what so ever a planned baby.  The story i got from my mom is that my dad wanted to get married for whatever reason but my mom did not, so he stayed around for about 2 months after I was born and then just split.  I wouldn't talk to my dad or see him for the rest of my life after this until I turned 18 and I finally got the courage to find his number and call him.  Anyways, I'm veering away from the original story.  About a year ago thanks to Facebook I found my dad's family and some of my cousins who in turn pointed me in the right direction to find my aunt's on his side as well.  I am now friends with all of them on Facebook.  Well, my aunt Lori messaged me about a week ago saying that her, her husband and my grandparents wanted to meet me and asked if we could meet somewhere in Sonora.  I gladly accepted and we chose to meet up at the Perko's in Sonora since my grandparents live in Twain Harte.  The Date was set for January 2nd at 9:30am.

So early yesterday I got the kids and the wife and myself ready and we got in the car and drove on down to Perko's cafe.  Meeting the four of them today was such an awesome experience, they are some of the nicest most well rounded people I know.  We talked about everything from my family and my mom and her family to their side of the family like kids, grand kids and stuff like that.  I learned a lot about my dad and even found out that we have a couple of things in common like how much food we can eat, apparently we both have a bottomless pit for a stomach.  Now, I know some of you might be thinking, "why didn't you ask them why they never wanted to seek you out and meet you until now?"  Well, I did kind of want to ask that but, I really didn't want to dampen the mood, perhaps those kind of questions would be more suited for a personal conversation between just me and them and not at a local Perko's.  That shit would be very very awkward and I really didn't want to make this first meeting an awkward experience.  I really just wanted to get to know them, I literally know nothing about any of these people and we share the same blood, it's sad to me sometimes when I really think about it.  This is my chance to be with people who I've wanted to meet my whole life, people who I have dreamed about and imagined in my head a thousand times.  I couldn't have asked for a better first meeting and I cant wait to get to know these family members even more now.  It's finally time for me to be involved with the family that I really didn't know I had.  So I am greatly looking for to that, it's going to be a great experience, I can feel it.

That's all for today, if you have any questions about this or my experience from yesterday then feel free to ask away.  Until next time.
